Meet Heather Kaspar: Auctioneer, Mother and Business Woman

The moment I met Heather, she simply radiated enthusiasm about life. She is contagious, as you find yourself smiling right along with her. She is a very successful Account Executive for Suddenlink and sells TV time to many of our local businesses.

Working from her home, with a two year old daughter Kylee Jo, Heather writes the commercials, directs them and all in all tries to be her clients guide through the whole process of going on cable TV. She can even sell spots on the Monday Night Football games.

Heather attended Texas State University and Blinn College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with an Advertising focus and a minor in Political Science. Her husband, Kyle, works for Aransas County and together they absolutely love the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, horseback riding, floating on the Frio River are second nature to the two of them having been raised in the country.

Heather serves on the Rockport Texas Outdoor Women’s Network board and is a Rockport/Fulton mentor for local school children. You can read more about Heather on her blog at

The most exciting thing in Heather’s life at this time is the opportunity to attend Waco’s MCC Auctioneer Academy. Yes, she says she is following in her uncle’s footsteps as he has been an auctioneer for years. She grew up around it and evidently adopted some of the skills. She has recently helped out at some fund raising auctions, had a really great response at all of them and now is going for her license. Whatever she does, you can be sure she will be great at it!

She has some advice for all you Wonderful Women out there! You never know where your life will take you and what the Good Lord has in store for you. Just be ready to buck up and ride hard! He knows what he's doing. Also be sure to never take anyone for granted! You never know who you're talking to or how you can help them. They have been put in your life for a reason. Lastly, be humble. You can learn a little something from everybody.

If you are interested in learning more about advertising on cable in our area or have questions about auctioneering, you can send Heather an email at
