1 Grand Mommie's Pecan Pie

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Dark Karo
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Shelled Pecan Halves
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
  • Store Bought or Pre-Made Pie Shell
Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl and pour into thawed, deep dish pie crust. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour or til the center of the pie jiggles just a tiny bit. Let cool and rest before serving.

This was wonderful, Jo! I added a dash of cinnamon, nutmeg & salt to mine, but the recipe itself was very very good! I was so pleased to use farm fresh Texas pecans--given to me for xmas...so it was extra yummy. Thanks for posting!
