Roving Reporter | Little Bay Sea Queens Spotted by Scavengers!

It seems Key Allegro Isle was the place to be last Saturday morning for the “Key Allegro 50th Anniversary Walkathon/ Scavenger Hunt." Teams in decorated golf carts, on bikes and walking traversed the first section of the island looking for landmarks while competing for prizes and accolades.

Of course when the Little Bay Sea Queens heard about this, they grabbed their tiaras, slipped on those fishnets and blue sequin dresses to hightail it to Key Allegro. But not to walk, on no! To entertain, singing and dancing as the participants neared the finish of their search. Did someone mention BONUS POINTS? Well, we’re quite sure that everyone who had a red lipstick kiss on the cheek received extra points.

Who knew that they made blue Corvettes that perfectly matched the Queen's blue dresses--must have been planned for that car to drive by just at the right moment for the Queens to pose and hold up traffic posing for photos.

Where are the Queens appearing next? --- We'll see you at the *Seafair Parade Oct 6.
