"Zooming and squeaking like children's toys, the male ruby throats have been arriving since August. The black chin humming birds have disappeared, migrated south with all their young ahead of the rubies. Buff bellies chirp loudly as they announce their claim on the feeder, as their off-spring still with a black bill learns how to drink from the artificial "flower."

I have had a tan hummingbird for several weeks, paler then either the rubies or black chins but not as ruddy as a rufous. Has anyone else seen one? Click here to SHARE a picture with the Network!"
