Rest in Peace | Viola Belle Albrecht

VICTORIA--Viola Belle Albrecht, 94, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012. She was born on July 15, 1918 in Victoria, Texas to the late Hugo and Cynthia DuBose Brandt. She was married to the late Olin F. Albrecht for 71 years until his death in 2009.

She is survived by her daughters, Janet Albrecht Kutchka (Raymond) of Victoria, Carol Albrecht Curry (Roc Curry) of Corpus Christi; granddaughters, Jill Kutchka Abel (Doug) of Pearland, Elisabeth Brown Moon (J.P.) of Marina Del Rey, California; great-grandchildren, Connor, Caroline, Fulton, Lilly and Hank.

In addition to her husband and parents, Viola was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and William Brandt and sister Annie Hammack.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 12 p.m. (Noon) at Grace Funeral Home with Pastor Don Angerstein officiating. Visitation will follow at Grace Funeral Home. Burial will follow visitation at Memory Gardens.

Special thanks go to her caregivers: Angie Bowles, Yvonne Richardson, Flora Duval and Alice Bryant for their loving care of Mother.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Viola's name. Pallbearers will be Raymond Kutchka, Roc Curry, Gary Tomas and John Heron. Grace Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
