10 Recommendation Needed | Face Cream

OK, I know this is sort of a "girl talk" kind of topic, but who better to ask than the WWN? Right? For years I have been using Lubriderm lotion on my face, which was recommended to me by my dermatologist decades ago. But now, as I get older, I'm looking for something that will really moisturize my face, but isn't greasy, so I can apply makeup right after. Does anyone have any personal favorites?--And hopefully a few that won't break the bank! Thanks in advance, Brenda

Hi Brenda, I use Aveeno "Smart Essentials" daily nourishing moisturizer with vitamins A, C, and E. It has SPF of 30. I really like this product. Kam

I think I posted this on facebook? I have been using Correctionist Time Correcting Creme. It only takes a small amount. I use it every morning out of the shower and before I put on my makeup. It's not greasy at all. You can get it at Sally's.

I've been using Mary Kay products for 22 year and have no problems. They are always improving their line and most products have spf 30 in them. There are reps here in Rockport or go on line. I really like the moisturizers. Janice M.

Try Bio-Oil (available at Walgreens). I use it day and night.

NeoStrata Face Cream. It even has sun block! I've been using it for 20+ years.

I am 66 and have been using Merle Norman lotion on my face since I was 16. I can instantly put powder on afterwards. It absorbs quickly and is non-greasy. Would never use anything else. There is a Merle Norman store in Aransas Pass. Pat Pileggi

I have extremely dry skin and having been using Mary Kay products since 1979. I also have skin cancer and need extra protection. I apply them in the morning right before my makeup. I use a different combination at night. There are product consultants in our town/area (I'm not one) or you can visit their website. Pat R

A dermatologist suggested CeraVe products to me several years ago and I've never been happier with a line of skin care. It's inexpensive, available in drug stores, and literally plumps up wrinkles!
