Pictures of JOY! | January 2013

Dear Friends & Neighbors: You were asked to email us 1 picture of something that brings you JOY! Purposefully vague, this assignment garnered some creative and heart-warming results! Folks who wanted to be identified provided their name in the subject of their email, while others preferred to be anonymous.

There is no 'winner' of this exercise, though it is obvious by looking through these images that we are all undeniably connected and inspired by a similar light--by love, family and the human spirit. Thank you to everyone who participated in the fun!... YOU are what makes our community and Network wonderful! ...enJOY!

Feel free to share your thoughts & comments on this post!

This is Mae do. It brings me joy that she was rescued after having to work with a broken leg and back.

My furry babies make me oh so happy! They can put a smile on my face any time.

This is Penny Bell celebrating Christmas with some of her best friends.

My husband and my family. But especially my grand babies!

Kitty Angell -- This was my 18-year-old (shaved) black Persian cat, Bubba. My easy-chair was also his easy-chair! He's crossed the rainbow bridge now, but this picture still brings me joy.

To Bill & Sarah Morgan: Your photo is intriguing. I am curious what type of dog you have. I have a dog, Rufio, who looks almost identical to yours and he is a rescue dog. I have had Rufio for almost 6 years and love him dearly but would like to know his breed if possible. Some folks have said Portuguese water dog. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks so much, Pat
