Skip the Plastic!

Conact: Neil McQueen

We are a dedicated group of people (aka. Plastic Skippers) working to protect the South Texas Beaches and marine life everywhere. Did you know that the United States goes through 100 Billion plastic bags annually? Many of these bags end up in our rivers, bays and oceans. In fact, plastic bags alone account for over 10 % of debris washed up on the U. S. coastline. This is one of the MANY reasons we are working to change the way we use plastic in everyday life. Something as simple as using a cloth grocery bag for shopping, instead of using disposable plastic blags, makes a huge impact. Whether you’re a person or a business, there are many easy ways to Skip The Plastic everyday. Feel free to browse our site for ideas...or send us your ideas on our contact page!
