"Lights on After School" Recap | Submitted by Kendall Harris’s Fourth Grade Class

The Odyssey Afterschool Enrichment Program has its open house called “Lights on After School” on Thursday evening, October 17, 2013 from 5-7pm.  It was held at Odyssey’s new location – the former Live Oak Elementary school campus.

Odyssey invited students, parents, teachers, civic leaders, and donors to come and see what Odyssey is all about.  Each class had a task for the event.  Some were tour guides, some served refreshments, and some demonstrated our afterschool classes like sewing, yoga, and sculpting.  The most popular things were the punch and cookies, and the Post-it note mural art.  The students enjoyed playing games in the recreation hall.

Everyone had a great time and enjoyed seeing friends and sharing Odyssey with visitors.

What a great recap! Great job everyone!
