Robert Johnson was often seen sketching and manning the sales desk at Estelle Stair Gallery. A talented artist himself, his work often portrayed classic trucks and imaginative scenes. An exhibition of his work was planned and will be shown at the Rockport Center for the Arts opening February 1, 2014.

He was known for his optimism, his ability to tell a good story, and sharing music with friends. Robert passed on December 28th, after battling cancer. He will be fervently missed by his many friends and family.

More information regarding services will be provided as it becomes available.

What a sweet man, so sorry for his friends and family.

So sad to hear this! The boys would go next door to the gallery to watch him and sometimes they would draw with him.

  3. So heartbreaking to hear of Robert's death! Always thoughtful and kind. It was one of life's greater gifts that I met him and called him friend. Robert, for me you are never gone...just moved on to a better place. Will miss you terribly - annie
