Pet Adoption | Gentleman Rocco Looking for a Companion!

Meet Rocco, one of the most handsome & gentlemanly of all the boys out at the HSAC shelter. This pup was found wandering the streets of Corpus Christi in February of 2005. A good Samaritan brought him to us and this Husky mix has made his home here ever since. Don’t you think that 9 years is way too long to wait for a home? We do!

Now, you’d think with a name like Rocco, this pup would be a “Wise Guy” and you would be so very wrong. Yes, he is quite the lady’s man (doggie kisses are his specialty), but he’s also one of the most mannerly and gracious dogs around. It’s thought that he got his name because Madonna’s song Open Your Heart was playing on the radio, so this pretty boy got named after her son.

Rocco doesn’t expect too much out of life, a kind word, a stroll and a treat and he will provide all the loyalty and companionship a person could ever want. He is considered one of our Canine Classics which means that he qualifies for our February special pricing.

Come on out and meet this supreme senior, let him capture your heart!
