Let's show the mayor our appreciation and support at this important City Council Meeting. We urge you to attend: Tuesday May 13, 6:30pm, Rockport City Hall on Market Street.

Very excited to see the City get behind the Skip the Plastic initiative. Many of our small business owners already encourage the use of reusable bags and many of our citizens are reusable bag pros. Hopefully the city's involvement will educate more people and help keep those bags out of our precious ecosystem.

I attended the city council meeting and was so pleased that there was wide support for this initiative! We can all work together to see that our ecology is protected, and with it, the things that make the region great for tourists and residents alike!
