RABIES ALERT: "2 Positive Skunk Rabies Cases in San Patricio County" via Bay Breeze Animal Clinic

"I want all of our clients to be aware and also inform all of their family and friends that the state health department has informed all veterinarians in our area that there have been 2 positive skunk rabies cases recently diagnosed in San Patricio county. Many people are not aware that even if your pet is not bitten by a rabid animal but is just exposed to a rabid animal there can be some heavy consequences for your pet and family if your pet is not current on their Rabies vaccine. Please check the status of your pets Rabies vaccine and get them updated if they are not current." - Bay Breeze Animal Clinic
