VIDEO & Pictures: Roving Reporter | "Pamela Fulcher Inspects the Rockport Art Festival Poster Proof"

"Press checks" must be done in person and require
an official signature to begin the printing run
Artist Pamela Fulcher & Visual Arts Director John Aasp carefully inspect the proof for the 2014 Rockport Art Festival Poster at Grunwald Printing Co. in Corpus Christi.

A show of Pamela Fulcher's photographic works will be on display during the months of June-July, opening on the 21st at the Rockport Center for the Arts.

This photographic work is the first of its kind to grace the prestigious poster! The amazing HDR photograph, that depicts a boat and its reflection in the Harbor, will be printed and auctioned off as an edition of one during the Annual Art Gala July 3rd.

"Pamela Fulcher is known for her bold and beautiful photographs, whether seascapes and harbor views, industrial and pastoral scenes or portraits of well-known local characters. Her passion for the arts began at an early age growing up in Hawaii, then receiving her art degree from the State University of New York in Potsdam. Teaching art in high schools in New York and Arizona, Fulcher further refined her love for teaching, learning, and collaboration with others.

After serving as Art Director at the Center from 2005-2006, Fulcher continues to share her talents with the community, shooting photographs for the annual Tour of Homes, doing custom graphic design work, teaching photography classes, and volunteering at the annual Rockport Art Festival. Fulcher is the first photographic artist to be named a Rockport Art Festival Poster Artist." (Bio Text Courtesy of RCA.)
