2 A Fond Farewell from Jim East

Greetings to subscribers, advertisers, website visitors and everyone else who is part of the WWN Rockport galaxy. Just a few months ago I had the good fortune to see an ad on Twitter saying the WWN needed an advertising rep, and I thought that might be a good fit for me professionally. Little did I know how much I would enjoy working for the WWN and getting to meet so many kind and interesting people throughout the area. At the time I began, I hoped this would be the start of a long and productive relationship with the small business owners who make this community so special.

But sometimes you are fortunate enough to have an opportunity come along that is too good to pass up, and when that happens, it forces you to make some rapid adjustments. Recently I let my boss at WWN know that I would, regretfully, be leaving Rockport for a new job, and that I would no longer be able to help the WWN. I know this website will continue to grow and thrive, and so will Rockport. I'll be subscribing to the newsletter so I know what's happening, and I wish all of you the best.

Thank you,

Jim East
