Pet Adoption | Maya Wants to Dance for You!

ADOPTED!

Hello Folks - my name is Maya and I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about my hopes and dreams. Maybe one of you can help me fulfill it. You see, I dream of become a ballerina - not just any ballerina, but a Prima Ballerina, and my hope is to dance the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker.

I have most of the requirements, I have a strong core, and my back, feet and legs are in great shape. I am fairly flexible and am working very, very hard on the graceful part.

I will need some help with my clothing though, the leotard is going to be OK as are the tights, but I think the Georgette skirt may get tangled in my leash. Any seamstresses that can provide a redesign is more than welcome.

I have been trying to practice at the barr on my kennel run, but it's a little bit too high for me. As for my floor work, I can't quite get my knees into a Grande Plie', but my Jete' is flawless, though my Pirouette needs some work.

Now, I have to be honest, both Bella and Sasha have made nasty comments regarding my lack of coordination (whatever that may be), but my friend Bonnie says that girls clumsier than I have made it into the big time. The boys, Granger and Jack seem to think that I'm very entertaining - laughing and laughing their darn fool heads off. My response: if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
Come and see me dance at the shelter, I'm the one in the pink tutu!
