Folks gathered to plant a tree in memory of Bill Hildebrand who left this world last May. The tree was planted in Zachary Taylor Park, which is off of Church St., on Bay St., near Anthony's By the Sea B&B. Sam Williams, Bill's partner (pictured below in blue shirt, far left), was on hand to share some fond memories of Bill and provide humorous anecdotes with his unique brand of warm, off-the-cuff humor. The crowd shared a round of applause as the tree was placed in the ground. A scholarship fund in honor of Bill has also been created—more info about an up-and-coming fundraiser can be found here.
