Roving Reporter | "1st Fall Cleanup on October 4th by the Aransas County Coastal Cleanup" | Text and Photograph by Johnny Taylor

The 1st Fall Cleanup on October 4th was a HUGE Success! 25 wonderful Aransas County folks showed up today [Oct 4, 2014] and picked up an amazing 590 pounds of garbage in 2 hours! A huge THANK YOU to ProBuild, the Aransas County 4-H Clubs, Keep Rockport Beautiful, the Aransas County Environmental Health Department, Rockport Radio 87.9, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Aransas County, the Promised Land Foundation the Fulton Weather Channel and all of our fantastic volunteers for helping keep our coastlines clean! There is still so much garbage out there and we ARE making a difference!
