"RCA Remembers Herb Booth"

The Rockport Art Community is saddened by the sudden loss of our dear friend and nationally-known sporting artist Herb Booth, a fixture in the Texas art scene for over 30 years. His decades of experience as a naturalist and hunter made for some of the most authentic and beautifully rendered scenes of the Texas coast and countryside ever produced.

He gave of his time and talents regularly to the Art Center and to organizations like the Coastal Conservation Association. His strong and positive presence will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services for Herb will be held at Rockport Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 11, with a reception to follow at Rockport Center for the Arts at 4:00 pm.
