Pet Adoption | The Humane Society of Rockport/Fulton: Steve Needs a Best Friend

ADOPTED!

Steve, it's a "Best Friend" kind of name, don't you think? Well, our Steve fits that description to a T. Steve reminds of so many of the more well-know Steve's that we're all familiar with. He's a really funny guy, reminiscent of Steve Carell, the famous comedian, keeping us laughing no matter what role he plays. However, when he decides to do the Goofy Kid role, it's Steve Urkel that comes to mind: "Did I do that?". The similarities are amazing and he seems to know that those antics keep us in stitches.

However, there's another side of Steve's personality and that's his intelligence. He'd give Steve Jobs a run for his money - well, maybe he's not quite computer literate, but close! And then there's the strong, team player aspect that he may have learned from Steve Young, our boy is most definitely an MPV!

Now, you might need to know a bit about Steve's breed, as the Border Collie can be a bit of a handful as far as dogs go. That's primarily because the breed was specifically bred for intelligence and obedience. That means that in order to have a well behaved dog, the owner needs to be smarter than the dog and this dog needs to have a job. If you think you have what it takes to make this handsome fella as your best friend, please come out to the shelter and meet him - if nothing else, he'll put a smile on your face.
