Pet Adoption | R/F Humane Society: Licorice Wants to be Your Candy Cat

Licorice is my name and I'm as shiny and sweet as a piece of licorice candy. I'm a young adult male with a lot of sweetness to share if someone will give me a chance, and this month is my lucky chance. During April, the Humane Society has a special low $15 adoption fee for all-black and almost-all-black cats. That includes everything from my black whiskers to the tip of my black tail, plus my neuter and vaccinations. What more could you ask.

You might ask what a handsome guy like me is living at a shelter. The sad truth is my first owner passed away and I had no where else to go. At least I still have my name. Licorice comes from the Greek language and means "sweet root". I don't know about the "root" part, but I do know about being sweet. Now I'm working extra hard to find someone else to share my sweetness and brush my shiny coat. Remember, my adoption fee is only $15! Come by the shelter and let me show you how sweet a black cat can be.
