Letter to the Editor | "...'For Sale' sign on the iconic oak grove property on Little Bay..." | Text and Photos by Sally Mitchell

I was devastated to see a 'For Sale' sign on the iconic oak grove property on Little Bay (across from HEB) where hundreds of heron and egrets nest. Worse it's being marketed as COMMERCIAL property. These windswept oaks define Rockport for me. I'm hoping citizens of Rockport can band together to buy land for preservation, but that would be a big project.
