Pet Adoption | Humane Society of R/F: Pirate is Recruiting Scallywags

Ahoy, me Hearties, batten down the hatches and lock up your doubloons for there's a new buccaneer in town and he's ready to give the Shelter the old Heave Ho! Meet Pirate, an almost 1 year old Bull Terrier mix that would love to be a part of your land lubbing crew.

There have been many famous Bull Terriers: they are, after all, the Gladiators of the Canine Race. General Patton had Willy (also known as William the Conqueror) a pup that was utterly devoted to the man. Target stores have Bullseye, a pure white Bull Terrier who plays a boy, but is actually a girl (shhhh, don't tell!). Who could forget Spuds of the Bud Light fame and then, just because it's that time of year, we can't help but mention Sparky, that adora-bull mess in the movie Frankenweenie.

Pirate has a lively, happy personality with his breeds typical high intelligence, charm and mischievous nature. His velvet soft coat with it's tawny eye-patch and his gleeful grin are sure to entice even the most finicky of wenches. He's been fixed, chipped and is up to date on all his vaccinations. Pirate is ready to weigh anchor and sail into the sunset with his new captain and crew.
