Pet Adoption | R/F Humane Society: Fur Stanley Wants to be Mailed to your Home

ADOPTED!

Many of you have heard of the children's book character Flat Stanley and all of his world wide adventures, but have you met Fur Stanley, the fuzzy character at the shelter who is looking for a home?

This young pup is also a survivor making the best of his unusual altered state. We're not sure just how he ended up with a bobbed tail although it certainly adds to his charming character. And speaking of character, this little fur covered bundle will be of no assistance if you need to catch some thieves in a museum, his idea of deterring any foul play is to run around in circles with a great big smile on his face. He will however, try to steal your heart with his playful antics, lively personality and adorable face.

Fur Stanley will not be able to slide under doors or fly like a kite, he's built for sliding on linoleum floors and flying around the backyard with the kids. And even though he wouldn't fit in an envelope to be mailed around the world, Fur Stanley's compact size makes him a very good fit for the backseat of the family sedan, ready to travel with the family to Grandma's house, camping or even the beach.
Flat Stanley is all about literacy: reading about his adventures. Fur Stanley is all about learning: he's eager to be taught new tricks and lessons. And he's super eager to be read to - learning about life with a loving family is his dream. Won't you come out and meet Fur Stanley to see if his story fits into your family album?
