Pet Adoption | R/F Humane Society: Isabella, the Regal Tabby

UPDATE: Sadly, Miss Isabella required some help to go over the rainbow bridge in late October of 2016. This regal tabby will be sorely missed. Run free like a kitten again sweet girl.

Isabella is my name and I am a mature and graceful lady, just like Queen Isabella of Spain who sponsored the new world discovery voyages of Christopher Columbus. Did you know that Isabella was the first woman to be featured on US postage stamps, on three stamps of the Columbian Issue in celebration of Columbus, and was also the first named woman to appear on a United States coin, an 1893 commemorative quarter, celebrating the 400th anniversary of Columbus's first voyage? I’d love to discover a new home of my very own!

I am quiet and friendly and will be happiest in a quiet indoor home with a family who would like to give me brushing in exchange for my affectionate ankle rubs. During December, the Humane Society has a special low $25 adoption fee for all cats who have been a resident here for over one year.

This fee includes myself along with my spay and current vaccinations, so it’s a majestic deal! Come see me and my lovely green eyes in Cattery 2 and the queen will grant an audience!
