Pet Adoption | Rockport-Fulton Humane Society: Darlin' Denton...

...has a tale to tell.

You see, not too long ago, there were 3 little Min-Pin mixes that came to the shelter. Their human family could no longer care for them and thought it would be best if we could find new homes for them. Lark, Jasper and Denton were very bewildered, sick, scared and so unhappy, they really didn't know what was going on. Staff and volunteers gently encouraged them to take treats and pats, to believe in trust and security and to play! The trio got fattened up, their heart worms were treated and their little souls turned inside out to become the most loving, happy pups ever!

Now Jasper got himself a little boy and Lark got a mommy & daddy and now it's Denton's turn. This mocha colored love-bug's favorite activity is snuggling, his favorite treat is belly rubs and his favorite place to sleep is a lap. Think it might be yours? This 2 1/2 year old darling still takes a few minutes to fully trust a person, but then it's BAM! You're OK, I'm OK, let's go hang out (preferably in your arms!).

Come on in and meet Darlin' Denton, take him for a walk (he's really good on a leash), set him in your lap and be prepared fall head over heels in love.
