Roving Reporter | "First Rockin' Rockport Regatta Was a Big Success!" | Article and Photos by Vicki Totten

"Last weekend's first ever Rockin' Rockport Regatta was a big success with over 70 boaters competing. Young sailors from all over Texas competed in two days of races, ranging in age from as young as 8 to as old as 15. The Rockport Yacht Club was the sponsor of the Texas Sailing Association sanctioned race, with lots of help from the Corpus Christi Yacht Club and more than 50 volunteers. Check out the Rockport Yacht Club's website for updates on upcoming youth sailing classes."
