Pet Adoption | R/F Humane Society: Tortilla - A Recipe For Love

How to make a Tortilla: Whisk flour, salt & baking powder together. Mix in lard with your fingers until the flour resembles cornmeal. Add water until the dough comes together. Knead on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic. Using a rolling pin, roll dough into thin rounds. Place into a hot skillet & cook until bubbly and golden. Flip and cook until golden on other side. Best if eaten immediately.

Wrap a furry body around silliness and boundless play, mix in love and fun until he resembles a cougar, but smaller. Add wonder until your mouser comes together. Kneading comes naturally, allow it to happen on soft surfaces such as your lap until purring occurs. Using a gentle hand, rub and pet to soothing consistency. Place in a hot, sunny spot and allow to nap. Turning will happen as will flips, tricks and curiosity. Best if adopted immediately.

Please come to the shelter and meet this year old boy, he's just waiting to be the center of your heart, family and home.
