Roving Reporter | "3rd Annual Doggie Dunk was a BIG Splash!"

According to the pool manager there were over 150 paying guests. The Humane Society and Adoption Center of Rockport-Fulton (HSAC) had a table set up by the entrance and welcomed all the dogs. Some were even former residents of HSAC! How cool was that?! We handed out tennis balls for the dogs to play fetch with. Sandy Oaks Kennels (formally known as Mack Forty) was there passing out Frisbees. There were lots of doggie smiles and doggie kisses and wet doggie bodies. Some of the dogs weren’t interested in pool activity, so they played and chased with their new friends on the large grassy area around the pool. It’s amazing to watch all these dogs playing and getting along so well. The manager suggested that there would be another Doggie pool event later this month. As soon as the Rockport Community Pool lets us know dates and times we will post them on our web site at Be sure to stop by our table at the next Doggie Dunk.
