Never thought I'd have to see this kind of thing again! (Click images for better view) Not a pretty sight to wake up too! So much for my pretty flower shots.
Frozen Bougainvillea

Just when I thought I was learning to be a good Texan, I get thrown an unseen curve ball.

The sprinklers ran through the night and this was what I woke up to! I never dreamed when we moved here from Kentucky, that I'd have to look at frozen things again!

Lesson learned: Turn sprinklers off when frigid weather is on the way.

Ice skating rink open for the birds today.

Oh well, at least the birds wont have to go hungry. Plenty of food for them, and water will be thawed.
