Pet Adoption | R/F Humane Society: Slate Offers Romance...

ADOPTED!!!!

Did you get all the romance that you deserve on Valentines’ Day? Did your significant other sing to you in sultry tones? Was the chocolate smooth and creamy? And the flowers? Were they stunning? If not, you need to take a trip out to the shelter and meet Slate, the sexiest, most desirable kitty around.

This amour addict has perfected the art of flirting, showing his passion with a tail flip and a head bop. With his provocative poses and exotic good looks, he’s the picture of Eros, titillating all who pass through his domain. Slate can and will seduce the most indifferent of humans as he’s not above forcefully engaging one with soft ankle rubs and delicate chirps of infatuation.

Slate’s most intriguing talent has to be his channeling of Barry White, the 3 time Grammy winning crooner of the 70’s. Slate’s rendition of “You’re the First, the Last, My Everything” will make the hair on your arms stand up. And don’t even get him started with “I’ve Got so Much to Give” unless you want to fall deeply and hopelessly in love with him. We think that one reason for Slate’s fascination with Mr White is the Texas connection. Although Slate is from Rockport & White was born in Galveston, Slate seems to be able to tune into the smooth, creamy richness of White’s voice.

Then there’s the whole “incarceration” connection. White was jailed at the age of 16 for theft and Slate was under arrest at Animal Control. Both learned their lessons and went on to lead full and productive lives, giving all they had back to society. So, if you didn’t get all that you expected (and even if you did), please come out & let this melodious love muffin charm you with his dreaminess!
