Roving Reporter | "Dogs Just Want to Have Fun!" | 7 Photos/Video and Caption by Jeanette Larson

"Just prior to opening the splash pool for Spring Break, Rockport's Community Aquatic and Skate Park held a Doggie Dunk Day on Saturday, March 4, 2017. For three hours dogs of all sizes ruled the pool, splashing, chasing balls, and going down the slide. Dogs paid a $5 entry fee, while human spectators paid $1 to watch. All of the dogs said they are looking forward to the next Doggie Dunk in September. The splash pool, which is closed during the winter, will be sanitized and re-open from March 11-18 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for kids on Spring Break." - Jeanette Larson
