We will dine Thursday night as guests of Bob & Jean James at Club Giraud. Club Giraud is a Private Dining Club for Members Only and their invited guests. The purpose of Club Giraud is to support and encourage the educational activities of the Southwest School of Art.
Participants will stay at the Hotel Indigo on N. St Mary's Street. The Hotel Indigo San Antonio River Walk hotel is a grand, Spanish-style villa located directly on the River Walk in the city's thriving arts community.
The Witte Museum
On Friday we will visit the The Witte Museum,- "Where Nature, Science and Culture Meet."
In addition to enjoying the various exhibits on display, Art Center patrons will get a first hand look at significant architecture of interest, the HEB Science Treehouse overlooking the Riverwalk, which was designed by LakeFlato, the same firm contracted by the Art Center to do a preliminary design for a new facility.
