Roving Reporter | "Trees Being Removed at Market St. and S. Doughty in County's Jurisdiction"

Some local citizens have contacted city officials in regards to the trees that are being removed at the corner of Market St. and S. Doughty.

Some mistakenly believe this land to be within the city's jurisdiction, but the land is in the county's jurisdiction.

According to a city official, the land owner is following all of the county requirements. He has permission from the state to cut trees in the state right of way. Everything is legal and he has followed all the rules, according to this official.
