Roving Reporter | "A Little Murder: Rockport Little Theater Fundraiser" by Jeanette Larson

Who's the villain? Who's the victim?

On Saturday night, June 24, 2017, someone was murdered at the Rockport Country Club. Fortunately more than forty amateur sleuths were on hand to solve the mystery and raise money for the Rockport Little Theater (RLT). Beginning with drinks, and continuing into dinner, actors portraying various roles mingled with the crowd, dropping clues, flubbing lines, and leaving evidence behind.

The mystery featured a host of local actors, all volunteers, dressed in costumes to reflect the luau theme. Sorry, but if you want to know "whodunit" you had to be there. Funds will go into the RLT's building fund, which according to past-president Monica Lewis currently stands at about $70,000.
