Tents provide shade from the sun
"In spite of the heat, that was soothed a bit by coastal breezes, a huge crowd turned out for Rockport Art Festival this past weekend. Volunteers received t-shirts when they signed in for their shift. Other volunteers drove around in hospitality carts bringing water to various areas of the festival and helping visitors. Children enjoyed the music of renowned performer, Joe McDermott, and have plenty of opportunities to create their own art. Over 120 artists from Texas and around the US had their art on display. At least several were selling so much art that their booths were looking a bit bare." - Jeanette Larson
