Pet Adoption | R/F Humane Society: Angelina, A Cat Of Elegance

This week’s featured kitty is Angelina, a magnificent diva in a petite little frame. Angelina is a little over a year old, is only about 6 ½ lbs. and has the most luxurious black fur with sable brown undertones.

This young lady is just that, a true lady in style and manner, she refuses to give us her hairdresser’s name or the salon in which she gets those chocolaty low lights done. She also won’t give any clues as to who taught her to purr in tune, rub with gentleness or walk with elegance. Angelina is one refined little kitty cat.

It may be that Angelina is of French decent; perhaps one of her ancestors was instrumental in the founding of Angelina Paris, the tearoom that has been touted as a place of sophistication and indulgence. Upon opening in 1903, the charm & refinement of the tearoom attracted the likes of Proust and Coco Chanel as well as other big names in the fashion industry. One of the more decadent confections available on the menu is the exceptional Angelina’s African Hot Chocolate which is blended from 3 types of cocoa and the mix is kept secret. Maybe it’s being kept in our Angelina’s family as her exquisite fur is reminiscent of a cup of the thick, chocolaty indulgence.

Do you think your home might do well with the addition of a classy lady, a little culture, some proper mannerisms? Stop in and meet Miss Angelina, see if her genteel manner makes an impression on you, we’re sure she will!
