Pet Adoption | R/F Humane Society: Luscious Cannoli, A Purrrfect Confection

What’s more elegant than a gentleman in a tuxedo? How about a fashionable female wearing one? And to go just a little bit further down the classic chic road, how about a Dignified, Stately, Italian Feline in a Tuxedo? That would be little Miss Cannoli, a petite year old who’s stylish grace adorns Cattery #1.

Cannoli isn’t the type of girl to be just arm candy to a well-dressed man, no sir – she’s a fashionista in her own sense of the word. With that jet black coat over a snow white bib and that itty bitty button nose, how can you go wrong as you walk down the runway of life with this graceful and luxurious feline?

As to her name, those of you of Italian decent know that the cannoli is just about the quintessential dessert, combining crisp, fried dough with sweet, creamy filling. The pastries originated in Sicily area and historically were served as a treat during Carnevale, but it didn’t take long before they became a year round staple. Now, we don’t really know if our little cannolo (did you know the singular of cannoli?) is of Continental descent, but we do know that she is as capable of making the dough of those “little tubes” as she is making biscuits. And that purr – as smooth and as sumptuous as the ricotta filling.

Stop in to meet this dainty, yet rich and exquisitely delightful kitty. We’re sure she’ll whet your appetite for adoption!
