"Several ACISD teachers made their way to T.M. Clark Elementary this morning to offer hugs and words of encouragement to their little Pirates and their parents. We will be back, we will rebuild and we will be #Piratestrong" via Facebook

"ACISD teachers, counselors, and administrators were on hand to welcome our students to new districts. They had signs that said "stop for a pirate hug" and Mr. Groseclose was helping with the car rider lines. Absolutely amazing watching so many communities come together to support one another. It's a great day to be a Pirate!"

"This is Bianca and Bambi, two huskies who rode out the storm in Fulton. Thanks to The Humane Society of Aransas County, primarily Deb Navin and Aileen Gillespie, these girls will be able to stay together as planned. My sister and I went down and picked them up last Tuesday after Deb called me and asked if I could foster them until their new family could pick them up. The girls have been living with us in Mason, Texas since. Their new family will be picking them up this Thursday. Deb and Aileen have worked tirelessly getting the animals to safety. Bianca and Bambi were not only relocated but much effort was made to keep them together. Very Kind." - Suzanne Demaree
