Roving Reporter | "Kids Create Art" by Jeanette Larson

All supplies are provided. Even cute aprons!

The Rockport Center for the Arts is hosting free Family Saturdays at Wind Way Gallery, 203 South Austin Street. Kids are invited to be creative every Saturday through December from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The art activity for September 29 was bird prints, inspired by the exhibit "Birds in Art." Next week's activity, for October 7, 2017 is wire birds. The classes are come and go and no reservations are needed. The Rockport Center for the Arts building was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey but Wind Way Gallery, which was relatively unscathed, volunteered their space for the classes.
