Rockport Center for the Arts | "Education updates November 14, 2017"

Things are underway for November classes. A flurry of activity is returning to the Art Center, something familiar to those who frequented the Art Center before! I am truly thankful to all the students and instructors and volunteers helping us return to normal, or perhaps I should say our new normal.

We've had lots of new faces join in and some exciting new programing. New in this email are a special Watercolor Holiday Card making workshop with Anita Diebel and a one-day workshop on a collage technique using Citrasolv and National Geographic magazines with Kelly Schaub. The results are amazing from this process, I think collage artists will really enjoy this technique. (Which reminds me, if you have any National Geographic magazines you wouldn't mind donating, please drop them by the Center before November 28.) We're extending the Collage Exploration drop-in class into December, all supplies will be provided so just bring yourself and come play!

We still have room in tomorrow's Junk Owl workshop. Please note, you do NOT have to make an owl, any creature you choose will be just fine! :) We will also be adding some more single topic ideas for the first half of December. More to come on that.

All below classes are on, please be sure to let me know if you plan to attend a given class so we can prepare for each and every student! I'm also working on our Winter Season schedule so if there is a class you would like to see, or if you would like to teach a class please let me know!

Happy Creating! - Karen
