It was a full day of fun at the 2017 post-Harvey Tropical Christmas. Starting with tree decorating and concluding with the lighting the community Christmas tree and fireworks over Little Bay, the day was a nice respite from Harvey rebuilding. Cast in Bronze, the only musical act of its kind in the world, performed the carillon. 35 bells are played by a silent and masked “spirit of the bells.” Shoppers supported local businesses in the vendor area and enjoyed a visit with Santa. Even the Grinch was welcome and this was a great way to start our holiday season.
