Community Information | "Rockport Beach Officially Reopens Feb 1"

Rockport Beach will officially reopen on February 1, 2018, according to Aransas County Navigation District (ACND) officials. The hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and admission will be $5 per entry or $20 for an annual sticker. Check or cash is accepted for payments.

Although work on repairs and rebuilding will continue, much has been returned to normal, including the boat ramp, dock, and fish cleaning station. Palapas and cabanas have been rebuilt. Some birds are returning and there are reports of skimmers starting to stake out their space in the bird sanctuary area and pelicans are hanging out again.
