City of Rockport | Spring Yard Waste Pick up Begins in April
Per its agreement with The City of Rockport, Republic Services will begin hand pick up of bagged yard debris on April 2. The program will continue for four weeks.
Because Republic Services will not be using its traditional zone, residents will need to place their bags curbside on the Sunday evenings of April 1, April 8, April 15 and April 22. Although a resident might have a regular Monday pick up date, it’s possible that the yard debris may not be picked up until later in the week OR a regular Tuesday pick up date may see yard waste removed as early as Monday.

It’s important to note:
- Each household may put out up to 12 bags
- Waste bags should be no greater than 35 gallons
- Trash cans will not be serviced
- Regular weekly trash and bi-weekly recyclables will continue on schedule.
