Possible Scam | Shared by Jeanette Larson

FYI Direct TV possible scam. I received a call telling me that we needed a new box because of the recent Direct TV upgrade (which did happen). I asked for a number to call when it was convenient for me to schedule (rather than scheduling right now) and said we'd had no problems so I didn't understand why we needed a new cable box. The caller wouldn't give me a number and kept asking when they could come out. I hung up and called Direct TV. They had not called me and said there is no need to change boxes. Beware!
