The Birdiest Festival in America | April 19-22

The Corpus Christi area is once again set to host its own birding festival!

The South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center (8545 S. Staples Street) is leading the effort to present "The Birdiest Festival in America."

After being named "America's Birdiest City" for a decade (with over 300 species seen annually), organizers are excited to bring a weekend of workshops, birding and photography field trips, a trade show and regional experts to the Coastal Bend.

It all begins Thursday, April 19th and runs through Sunday the 22nd.

A $35 per person basic registration fee covers an opening reception/dinner on Thursday, seminars/special talks, a birding trade show, vendor tent, arts/crafts booths, “Raptor Project” shows and Botanical Gardens admission, and a family fun area.

Optional, separately-priced features include birding and photography field trips.

Online registration and more detailed information -- including a complete schedule -- may be found at or by calling (361) 852-2100.
