City of Rockport | City Hosting Funding Workshops for Property Owners

The City of Rockport is hosting two workshops on rebuilding, floodproofing, and federal grant funding through FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for property owners in flood zones. This grant can help property owners fund reconstruction projects that will be compliant with City building codes and floodplain regulations.

A representative from the Texas Department of Emergency Management will provide detailed information on the funding program for which FEMA provides 85%. The cap for the program is $150,000 per property.

The meeting dates are as follows:
  • Residential properties – Wednesday, April 18, 6:00 p.m.
City of Rockport Service Center, 2751 State Highway 35 Bypass

  • Non-residential properties – Thursday, April 19, 8:30 a.m.
Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, 319 Broadway
