A Heartfelt Thank you and Best Wishes to Taylor and Marsha Hendrix

It's a sad week for Rockport as it loses two of its shining stars, Taylor and Marsha Hendrix, as they venture forward into a new exciting adventure. I didn't want this week to pass without saying a heartfelt THANK YOU from all of us, for all their hard work over the last decade and a half.

If you were lucky, you might have shared a Shiner with these two at a large gala or festival, but few got to see what Taylor and Marsha did behind the scenes for countless events throughout Rockport over the years...typically in the sweltering heat, sweating...working into the wee hours of the morning moving chairs, collecting trash, taking down screens, putting away easels, loading, unloading, loading, unloading ...all with a smile and of course a sassy, delightful quip that then made you smile too. Their energy and dedication makes you work harder, and care more deeply about whatever the team is working on for the community.

Their bright spirits will be sorely missed by many who knew them personally, but everyone reading this has most likely enjoyed the results of their efforts... as it's behind the scenes dedication like theirs that makes Rockport truly special. We wish them all the best as they embark on their new adventure, but hope they visit soon! With sincere love and admiration, Alicia & The WWN
