The 30th annual HummerBird Celebration is set for Sept. 13-16 and we are looking for volunteers!Volunteers are needed for ticket takers in the box office and middle school, merchandise sales booths, photography classes, as well as ticket takers at the reception and dinner. These are simple, fun 2-hour shifts. As a volunteer, you get an official commemorative event T-Shirt!

This year’s HummerBird Celebration Speaker Programs are based at Rockport Church of Christ, 1520 Omohundro St and the Middle School. The box office will be in an RV outside of Martha Luigi Auditorium at Rockport-Fulton High School. The auditorium is currently being repaired from Hurricane Harvey damage. The opening reception on Thursday (as well as Friday and Saturday morning photography classes) will be held at the Rockport Center for the Arts. A special presentation and dinner will be at Drifters RV resort on Thursday evening, Sept. 13. There are excellent speakers, new programing added and wonderful vendors.
