Wings Rescue Center | Another success story!

Wings received a call from a very caring family, the Baillons, about a Great Blue Heron that was attacked by another heron. Wings volunteer, Debbie, responded. Paul And Vicki Baillon not only offered their kayak to rescue the bird, but their son, Parker, helped with the rescue. Daughters Trisha and Elizabeth named the heron "Rezi". Rezi was taken to WRC and treated for puncture wounds to the head. The family also brought live fish to WRC to aid in Rezi's recovery. Thanks to caring people and Wings volunteers, Rezi, fully recovered, was released this week.
